WARRANTY POLICY

We work very hard to bring you high quality products at reasonable prices. We adhere to our commitment to customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, and if your concerns are within reason, Zed Cellular will either exchange the product or refund you the product price.
The 30 day warranty period starts from the day you receive the product(s).
Returns after 30 days from the period you receive the product(s) will not be accepted.
Zed Cellular is not responsible for any product that becomes defective beyond the stated warranty period. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase, and you are responsible to claim the warranty directly with the manufacturer, if any warranty is in force from the manufacturer.
For any exchange or refund, we need the original receipt or a record of the purchase in our system, and the product must be in its original condition, including the box, UPC bar code, packaging, and all the accessories that originally came with the product when you received it.
Open software is not eligible for returns.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Insurance charges are also not refundable.
To process a refund, please email us at: refund@zedcellular.com with the following;
- Your name
- Your address
- The product(s) you wish to return
- The reason you wish to return the product(s)
Zed Cellular will then issue you an RMA number. Please write this RMA number on the package you send to us. Any returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
The issuance of an RMA number does not guarantee acceptance of the return. The product will be inspected for non-warrantiable damage, and assessment of whether the product(s) are accepted for return will be at the discretion of Zed Cellular. This policy has been made to protect Zed Cellular from unreasonable abuse of our warranty policy, however all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate you.
You are responsible for all costs associated with shipping the product(s) you wish to return back to Zed Cellular.
Our mailing address for returns is Zed Cellular – RMA Department, 2376 Ruisseau St. Georges Sud, St. Jacques-de-Montcalm, Quebec, Canada J0K2R0.
Please allow up to 10 business days for returns to be processed.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Zed Cellular agrees with the purchaser of the product(s) to provide a Warranty for a period of 30 days. The warranty begins on the date the product is delivered and is between Zed Cellular and the Owner. The date of delivery, if it is not expressly known, will be taken as the date of shipping plus normal transit times as listed in the shipping policy. This Warranty covers manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship that are the result of normal usage. This Warranty provides for repair where possible of all software or firmware failures, in the event repair is not possible the Product will be replaced and for all other manufacturer’s defects covered by this Warranty the Product will be exchanged after the defect is confirmed.

General Conditions

This Warranty does not cover failure as a result of: misuse, abuse, accidental or intentional physical damage, foreign objects found inside the equipment; repair of damage caused by, fire, flood, inadequate electrical power, acts of God, repair of damage due to any use of the product not authorized by the manufacturer.
This Warranty does not cover products with altered serial numbers.
The maximum liability of this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price for the product.
Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com reserves the right to replace the covered product with a product of comparable performance. Replacement products may be new or refurbished to meet the manufacturer’s specifications of the original product at Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com’s discretion. Product replacement under this warranty will fulfill this agreement in its entirety and will discharge all further obligations under this Warranty and the Warranty shall terminate
This Warranty does not cover deterioration of the appearance of the product, any cosmetic part or finish defects such as plastic, dents, scratches, chips, breakage, rust or peeling.
Any damage resulting from unauthorized replacement parts, improper service or modifications made to the covered product are not covered by this Warranty.
If no defect is found (no fault found) or repairs are denied based on the terms and conditions of the Warranty, the Warranty owner will be responsible for all costs incurred.
Any loss due to failure to follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance, specifications or operating instructions during the term of this Warranty is excluded.
Zed Cellular and zedcellular.com are released from all liability due to indirect, consequential or incidental damages.
Any loss resulting from collision with another object or any damage while the product is in transit is excluded.
Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com may cancel this Warranty for reasons, including but not limited to, misuse of the product, unauthorized modifications to the product or commercial use of the product.
The cost to ship your repaired or exchanged product to you is covered by this Warranty.

Special Terms for Bluetooth Earpieces

This warranty does not cover issues related to call quality.
This warranty only covers microphone / speaker / charging issues.
This warranty does not cover issues related to the cosmetic appearance of the Bluetooth device.

Special Terms for Phones

The warranty does not cover abuse of the phone. Zed Cellular makes the decision if the damage is abuse and the decision of Zed Cellular’s technicians is final.
Most LCD damages are due to abuse.
You cannot upgrade a warranty after the initial purchase.
The warranty MUST be purchased on the date of purchase of the phone, NOT LATER under any circumstances.
The warranties are NOT transferrable to a new owner, should you trade or sell your phone.
Loaner phones are available for in store customers or customers who present themselves at our flagship store for $20 for the duration of the warranty claim processing period. Loaner phones will be basic phones, and may not be of the quality as that which you originally purchased.
If the phone that you buy is defective, and a replacement cannot be reasonably found, Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com has the right to replace the phone with another one of similar performance. It is Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com’s decision as to what phone to replace the defective phone with.
Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com has the right to replace the defective phone with a refurbished unit.
The warranty does NOT cover cosmetic damage. This means that if the phone gets scratched or the finish is worn off, this is not a warrantiable item.
If there is a software related problem, Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com will try to fix the software related problem. It is the technician’s decision as to what to do when faced with a software problem, and their decision is final.
The warranty DOES NOT cover water damage.
If a replacement phone is given, then the warranty ends with the replacement. You will need to buy an additional warranty for your replacement phone.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The zedcellular.com website is provided by zedcellular.com and/or Zed Cellular on an “as is” basis. Zed Cellular and zedcellular.com make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk.

To the full extent permissible by applicable law, zedcellular.com and/or Zed Cellular disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com does not warrant that the zedcellular.com site, its servers, or email sent from Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com are free of viruses or other harmful components. Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the zedcellular.com site, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

APPLICABLE LAW

By purchasing from Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com, you agree that the laws of the province of Quebec, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern any all transactions or purchases you may have with Zed Cellular and zedcellular.com. Any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com or its affiliates will be resolved using the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada.

DISPUTES, DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBRITRATION

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to the zedcellular.com site or to products you purchase through zedcellular.com shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, except that, to the extent that you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate the intellectual property rights of Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com or its affiliates, Zed Cellular and/or zedcellular.com or its affiliates may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the province of Quebec, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the Canadian Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
